POUJOULAT UK has been delivering HETAS training at its dedicated Guildford training centre for eight years now, offering the full range of HETAS courses alongside courses dedicated to Poujoulat product awareness training.

At the 2015 Hearth & Home Exhibition the company will be exclusively unveiling its latest training packages in a move the company says will "revolutionise training options for the industry."

Speaking about the new initiative, Peter Browning, Sales Director for Poujoulat UK, said: "We will very soon be offering a variety of courses covering not least the questions of product selection, installation, system and chimney design, regulations and legal requirements. Poujoulat has made a significant investment in its new training facility with installation applications demonstrated over three open floors in a purpose built structure. We are happy to operate an open door policy to visitors and everyone is welcome to come, meet and speak with our training, technical or sales staff."

In addition to the in-house training, Poujoulat is set to launch a new e-learning platform with a dedicated solid fuel "knowledge bank" accessible to candidates. Commenting on the rationale behind the launch Managing Director, Anthony Reed-Forrester, said: "Poujoulat understands that people across all areas of our industry have different learning requirements and styles, and we recognise the need for a training portfolio that offers more than just monotone or generic learning programmes."

'We are going to offer specific and tailored packages to allow candidates to acquire the skills and certification they need in their preferred environment, at their speed and in their own way. We are fully committed to helping to improve the knowledge, understanding and professionalism of our industry through continued development and we are currently building an online learning centre. This training tool will be an e-leaming platform but also contain an industry wide knowledge bank for all aspects of solid fuel. These partner pages will be continually updated and form a library of documents, videos, instructions and tutorials on industry products, making it an essential go-to reference tool for all."

Peter added: "These cost and time effective courses will be aimed at training people at all levels in the industry from a basic understanding right the way up to those that install, specify and design. When you register as a learner with Poujoulat's new online learning management system your individual needs and styles will be central to the design of a bespoke training package.

"Candidates will have access to the learning material and supporting documents for all levels, enabling the trainee to progress through their individual learning journey without any hidden or continuous financial constraints, and without taking time off from work to sit the training part of a course. In return for one small membership fee new entrants will be able to progress through their entire learning journey with only on-site exams to pay for. Poujoulat's e-leaming training platform will target specifically the individual needs for each role in the solid fuel industry ensuring that the right level of knowledge is available to provide the user with a complete learning Journey. Plus we have plans to expand to accommodate the gas and oil industries as well."

Poujoulat UK will once again be showcasing its range of products at the Hearth & Home Exhibition and Anthony and the team has extended an invitation to visitors to come along to its stand to find out more about its new training options. He added: "If you are new to the solid fuel industry and want to get a considered and well rounded introductory training, then Poujoulat's excellent new beginner and retail staff's introduction to the industry course is the one to book. Come along to our stand at Hearth & Home to find out more."
